Equipment
The infrastructure of ITSAK consists of various units suitable for the measurement of physical parameters related to the spatial variation of the ground acceleration, ambient noise, variation of the velocity of the P and S waves with depth and response of structures.
Among them are:

80 accelerographs of type QDR (with resolution of 11 bits equipped with Kinemetrics QDR /MEMS based technology sensors),

10 Kinemetrics accelerographs of type SSA1 & SSA2 (with resolution of 12 bits and FBA accelerometers),

14 Kinemetrics Altus accelerographs. 3 are of type K2 and 11 are of type Etna with 19 and 18 bits respectively resolution, equipped with Kinemetrics-Episensor sensors,

28 GeoSIG GCR-24 accelerographs with recorder of 24 bits resolution equipped with Guralp CMG-5T sensors,

15 Guralp CMG-5TD accelerographs with 24 bits resolution equipped with broadband accelerometers,

5 six-channels 24bits recording units CMG24 with 5 surface CMG-5T and 5 CGM-5TB borehole accelerometers and corresponding cables of various lengths.
The communicaion system between ITSAK and instruments is telephone telemetry.
